Famous French fashion designer Pierre Cardin to visit Azerbaijan this year
The famous French fashion designer Pierre Cardin will visit Azerbaijan this year. According to ITAR-TASS, in addition to Azerbaijan the fashion designer plans to visit Russia, Brazil, Greece and China.
Details of these visits are still being worked out, but the Russian mission's calendar slot is already determined. "The Day of Pierre Cardin" will be held in Moscow on June 7 and Kaluga will pick up the baton on June 8-10.
Pierre Cardin's vital principle is to facilitate contacts and communication. Cardin - UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, academician of many academies and the head of the Paris Theater, pays numerous annual visits to places around the world.
The Russian public will see the "Casanova" performance, for which the master created the wonderful costumes. "I staged this performance on St. Mark's Square in Venice, and now I want to bring it to Russia, Pierre Cardin said in an interview with ITAR-TASS. "I am honored to show it to Moscow and Kaluga's residents."
Cardin decided to present his fashion work at the Museum of Astronautics in Kaluga. This is not an accidental choice. "This year Yuri Gagarin's space flight marked its 50th anniversary, the event has changed the world," Cardin said.
The master has his own museum in France. His most original works, representing six decades of continuous searching, are collected in Saint Ouen near Paris. "Talent and taste alone are not enough: style decides everything," the great stylist says.
