The National Gymnastics Arena in Baku has wonderful warm-up and competitive facilities, Slovenian gymnast Ekatarina Vedeneeva told Trend.

“The European Championships in Baku are organized perfectly; there are wonderful warm-up and competitive facilities. The suggestions with regards to lighting were taken into account after the Cup, and now performing here has become more comfortable,” said the gymnast.

Commenting on her performance during the second day of the European Championships, the gymnast noted that she had made some mistakes, but was pleased overall.

“We have been preparing a lot for this performance, and I hope that I made it,” she said.

Ekatarina Vedeneeva told that she had spent a week in Baku at a training camp before the Championships and had the time to enjoy the beauty of the city. "We walked around the city, and, frankly, we did not expect Baku to be so beautiful, - it looks like Dubai," she said.

Speaking about tomorrow's competition, the athlete added that it is hard for her to say anything beforehand, but she will try to do everything she can. “The coach and parents help me to tune in for the performance, as well as the support of my Club in Slovenia,” she said.
