Ismayilova/ The Government of Azerbaijan gives great importance to the development of social protection, and the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Germany in this field will be further strengthened, Franz Tennes, the secretary of state, MP and deputy minister of labour and social protection of Germany said in Baku on 28 April.
"The cooperation in the social protection between Azerbaijan and Germany is important for both the countries," said Tennes.
On 28 April, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Azerbaijan and that of Germany signed a memorandum on mutual understanding in Baku, in order to cooperate in efficient social protection of Azerbaijani population by benefiting from the German experience in this field.
According to Tennes, the labour protection is critical to economy of every country.
"The cooperation between Germany and Azerbaijan is also important within the energy agreement signed between Azerbaijan and European Union. Azerbaijan should develop social sphere for the efficient use of its oil revenues," Tennes said.
