Prices for export goods increased in Kazakhstan

The prices for exported goods in Kazakhstan in May this year increased by 3.1 percent, while imports - by 1.9 percent compared to April, the Kazakh Statistics Agency told Trend.

The increase in prices for export supplies of ferrous metals for the month was 10.8 percent, gas condensate - 9.2 percent, copper - 4,8 percent, zinc - by 3.7 percent, lead - 1,6 cent.

However, there is also decrease in liquefied propane and butane at 2.5 percent, petroleum products - 2.3 percent. Cotton prices increased by 8.9 percent, tobacco - 1.4 percent, grain - 6.2 percent, wool - 1,7 percent.

Imported poultry meat increased in price by 11.5 percent, fruit - 8 percent, sugar - 7.3 percent, drugs - 2.6 percent, textile products - 0.5 percent, footwear prices dropped by 6 percent, paints and varnishes - 3,7 percent, vegetable oil - 3.1 percent, tea - 2,4 percent, margarine - one percent.
