The average income in Turkey will increase by an average of 7.5 percent each year, to reach $25,000 by 2023, head of the Turkish Central Bank Erdem Basci said today, Sabah newspaper reported.
He said that Turkey's annual growth of economy is 5 percent. Basci stressed that it is necessary to maintain financial stability and price stability to achieve the limit of $25,000 GDP per capita.
As of 2011, average income in Turkey was $15,000. Last year, total GDP volume hit $1.1 trillion.
