Laric Chemical LLC, an Azerbaijani company engaged in production of disinfectants, has launched pilot production of new nine experimental samples of disinfectants, the company told Trend.
“The experimental samples are tested after we are confident in their safety and suitability. Following positive feedback, massive production of these products will begin,” the company said.
“In the first five months of 2020, there was an increase in the demand for disinfectants due to the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), and the most popular were hand disinfectants and detergents. The sales of disinfectants increased by 70 percent over the year,” noted the company.
“Currently, work is underway to supply products in 400- and 500-milligram packages. The Agency for Development of Small and Medium Enterprises of Azerbaijan supported the production of disinfectants in the country, providing 10,000 liters of ethyl alcohol to our company,” said the source.
“In 2019, the production of disinfectants was carried out in small volumes. Due to the spread of coronavirus infection in the world, demand for this group of goods has sharply increased in Azerbaijan, too,” the company said.
Laric Chemical LLC has been manufacturing household detergents, cleaners and disinfectants in Azerbaijan since 2017.
