Baku welcomes inflow of Turkish businessmen to Azerbaijan, Ali Hassanov, the head of the Public-Political Department of the Presidents Apparat, said at a rewarding ceremony of Turkish Businessmen on Friday, Trend reports. According to Hassanov, Turkish businessmen have invested approximately $2bn in the economy of the country since acquisition of independence.
At present Turkish businessmen are represented practically in all fields of the Azerbaijans economy. They participated in the infrastructural projects, establishment of trade network, service sphere, enterprises, he stressed.
Hassanov noted that Azerbaijani-Turkish Industrialists and Businessmen Association (TUSIAB) was established in Baku in 1994. Its goal is to establish acceptable climate for Turkish investors.
According to Hassanov, TUSIAB makes contribution into formation of the Azerbaijans image among Turkish businessmen.
