Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr U. Ismaylova / Canadian actuary Jan Noel Martineu, who visited Baku in order to get familiar with the Azerbaijani insurance market, is developing a report on the state of the market, the Director of the State Insurance Control of the Azerbaijani Finance Ministry, Namig Khalilov, reported on 24 May.
According to Khalilov, the report will be ready in several weeks. The actuary will again visit Baku and will develop the plan on development of the insurance market in Azerbaijan jointly with the State Insurance Control. The plan will include joint work on development of actuarial activities.
Khalilov noted that the purpose of the visit is to establish a school of actuaries and experts in this field in Azerbaijan.
