By Huseyn Valiyev – Trend:

Scholars of the Azerbaijani High Tech Research Center implemented a project in carbon electronics using nanotechnologies, a source in the country's IT market told Trend.

According to the source, the issue is the creation of a device that allows reducing the effects of environmental pollution by vehicles, which is possible by using carbon nanotubes in polymers.

“This device will be demonstrated for the first time at the 23rd Azerbaijan International Telecommunications and Information Technologies Exhibition and Conference (December 5-8)," the source said.

Earlier, scholars of the High Tech Research Center obtained multilayer carbon nanotubes, the purity of which exceeds 95 percent. The diameter of the nanotubes is 5 nanometers and the length is 600 micrometers.

The obtained results can be applied in different industries, namely, engineering industry, construction and others.
