The number of tourists who have visited Kazakhstan in July 2019 amounted to 12,019 people, Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee told Trend.
Following the end of the reporting month, the most popular transport to visit Kazakhstan was a railway transport: 4,378 people of the total volume used railway transport.
Second and third places go to international buses and air transport, which was used by 3,497 and 2,880 people respectively to visit Kazakhstan .
The least popular transport during the reporting month was a personal car and other types of transport, which was used by 1,119 tourists and 175 tourists respectively.
As reported, slightly less number of tourists visited the country in the winter season in the beginning of the year. According to the statistics committee, during January 2019, Kazakhstan was visited by 10,322 people.
The rating of the most popular transport to visit Kazakhstan in January is comparable to July rating.
Thus, the most popular way of transport during January was railway transport, which was used by 3,955 people. It is followed by international buses (3,013 people), air transport (2,264 people), personal car (929 people) and other types of transport (161 people).
