The preterm dissolution of the Kazakh parliament and preterm elections are highly probable, Alexei Vlasov, a member of the Trend Council of Experts and the chief editor of the Caucasus Bulletin news and analytical agency, said today.

"If the process gets formalized before late November, elections will be held in late January as it is prohibited to hold presidential and parliamentary elections in the same year. Thus, it is highly probable that preterm elections will be held in Kazakhstan in January 2012," Vlasov told Trend.

He said everyone has been prepared for this for a long period of time, and the procedure of dissolving parliament now needs to be carried out.

The MPs on Thursday asked President Nursultan Nazarbayev to make tje decision to dissolve the house.

MP Nurtay Sabilyanov read the request from a group of MPs. Fifty-three MPs signed the document.
