Kazakhstan will create a common company for public procurement organisation, Kazakh Finance Minister Bolat Zhamishev said, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported.
"In order to avoid the risks of unprofessionalism of auction commissions when choosing a preferred supplier, we plan to create a common company for public procurement organisation," Zhamishev said at a briefing at the Central Communications Service for the Kazakh president.
The company will organise and carry out public procurement within budget programmes through competitions and auctions at national and international levels.
"According to the law, the auction commissions under the common company, will be chaired by ministers, or local governors," the Finance Ministry said.
