The presidents of Iraq, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan, Jalal Talabani, Hamid Karzai, Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov and Imomali Rahmon will make a visit to Iran, where they will attend events dedicated to the international holiday Novruz, İSNA reported.
The presidents of Iraq and Tajikistan will arrive in Iran today, and the presidents of Afghanistan and Turkmenistan - 27 March.
This year the United Nations conferred international status upon Novruz holiday. Ceremony celebrating Novruz will begin in Tehran March 27 and will continue in the city of Shiraz next day.
Azerbaijan will be represented by a delegation headed by Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.
