ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, October 25. Turkmenistan will take part in the meeting of the Heads of Government Council of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states on October 26 this year in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Trend reports.
The event will be attended by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on Economic, Banking, and International Financial Organizations, Hojamyrat Geldimyradov.
During the meetings, topical issues of interaction and strengthening cooperation between the member countries of the associations will be considered, and a number of documents in the trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres will be signed.
Along with the Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan, the heads of governments of Belarus, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Mongolia, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, as well as the foreign ministers of India and Pakistan, will take part in the events.
Meanwhile, the development of Turkmenistan's interrelationships within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) continues to be a key priority of the country's foreign policy, where active participation in the forum contributes to strengthening cooperation in the fields of economy, security, and cultural exchange with other members of this organization, supporting stability and development in a wide region of Asia.
