Some 4,767 tourists from Tajikistan visited Turkey in September 2019, which is 16.44 percent more compared to September 2018, the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism told Trend on Nov. 1.
"The share of Tajik citizens in the total number of foreigners who visited Turkey amounted to 0.09 percent during the reporting period," the ministry said.
Some 34,327 tourists from Tajikistan visited Turkey from January through September 2019, which is 7.89 percent more compared to the same period of 2018.

Over 5.4 million tourists visited Turkey in September 2019, which is 13.23 percent more compared to September 2018.
During the reporting period, over 2.1 million tourists visited Antalya while over 1.4 million tourists visited Istanbul.
Over 36.4 million tourists visited Turkey from January through September 2019, which is 14.50 percent more compared to the same period of 2018.
