( Cihan ) - Turkish Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc received a delegation from Lithuanian parliament.
Headed by Andrius Kubilius, the head of the EU Committee of the parliament, the Lithuanian delegation consisting of the EU and Foreign Affairs committees visited Arinc.
Recalling his visit to Lithuania in 2005, Speaker Arinc said that Turkey desired to reinforce relations with Lithuanian parliament.
Kubilius, for his part, said that they would be happy to share Turkey's experiences on its way to the European Union membership.
" Turkey will make significant contributions to the bloc when it becomes an EU member," Kubilius added .
The meeting, then, continued after the press members were allowed to take pictures and videos at the beginning of the reception.
