President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has congratulated his Greek counterpart Prokopis Pavlopoulos on the occasion of the public holiday of the Hellenic Republic - Independence Day.
"On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I cordially congratulate you and the people of your country on the occasion of the public holiday of the Hellenic Republic - Independence Day," Aliyev said in the congratulatory letter.
"I believe that our steps towards strengthening Azerbaijani-Greek friendly relations and expanding the scope of our cooperation will further contribute to the well-being of our peoples," said the president. "On this remarkable day, I wish you good health, success in your work, and the friendly people of Greece peace and prosperity."
