The initiative of the Musavat party to stage on 5 August the meeting of the pro-governmental and oppositional parties caused surprise among the representatives of the pro-governmental parties.
“The Musavat party is late with this move. But despite this, the invitation will be considered”, chairman of the Ana Vatan Party Fazil Agamali ogli told Trend.
Agamali reminded, on the initiative of the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP), on 29July meeting of pro-governmental and oppositional parties took place, in which discussions in regard to the roundtable were held, and the decision was taken to hold the next meeting at the headquarters of the Civil Solidarity party. В"After all that it is rather strange, the Musavat party appoints meeting on its own initiative.
But along with these, in case the Musavat party’s proposal is sincere, I would not refuse from participating in the meeting. We will discuss it and consult with our ally, the NAP”, Agamali said.
According to the Ana Vatan party leader, the NAP leadership will consider the situation and take a constructive step.
