A record level of the annual inflation rate of 3.5 percent was registered for the past 18 months in February, 2014 in Georgia, 'GeoStat' National Statistical Service of Georgia told Trend on March 4.
The inflation rate rise in the country was caused by rising food prices and an increase in the cost of the property, as well as payment for utilities such as gas and electricity.
The inflation growth rate made up 0.2 percent in February in Georgia compared to January.
