The market share of stationary desktop computers decreased by 25.37 percent in Azerbaijan on the results of January-December 2014, the Global Stats statistical center said.
The market share of desktop computers in Azerbaijan is 52.61 percent, according to the report.
This market has dropped 26.17 percent in the country, compared with the same period last year.
A growth of 63 percent was recorded in the market share for portable computers such as notebooks and netbooks in Azerbaijan on the results of the end of 2014. The market share of laptops in Azerbaijan makes up 41.55 percent. This segment grew by 65.80 percent, compared to the same period last year.
Tablet computers occupy third place in the ranking with a share of 5.84 percent. The growth of this segment of the market amounted to 45.27 percent in January-December 2014. Furthermore, in comparison with the same period of 2013, the tablet device segment grew by 58.26 percent.
