Kazakh National Bank renewed a license of Delta Bank for banking and other operations and implementation of activities in the securities market, the National Bank said in a message Dec. 29.
The bank is again allowed to attract deposits, open bank accounts of individuals.
Kazakh National Bank suspended the license of Delta bank in early November. The decision to suspend the licenses was made following violations of banking legislation requirements by this bank, and the need to improve its internal management system.
Delta Bank was founded in 1993. By now the bank has a regional network of 11 branches. The assets of Delta Bank amount to 495.05 billion tenge (332.61 tenge = $1), its loan portfolio – 386.38 billion tenge as of 1 December 2016. The bank’s total capital amounts to 64.269 billion tenge.
