OPEC oil basket’s price stood at $46.02 per barrel on June 21, or $0.22 less than on June 20, the cartel told Trend June 22.
The OPEC Reference Basket (ORB) is made up of the following oil brands: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Oriente (Ecuador), Minas (Indonesia), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela).
Global oil prices increased on June 22.
The price for August futures of the North Sea Brent oil mix increased by 0.83 percent – to $51.04 per barrel, while the price of August futures for WTI oil increased by 1.04 percent – to $50.37 per barrel June 22 as of 11:20 (UTC/GMT+4 hours).
