An accidental blast early morning on Dec. 18 killed three IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps) members in Iran's south-eastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan.

An accidental blast early morning on Dec. 18 killed three IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps) members in Iran's south-eastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan, Fars news agency reported on Dec. 18.

Province's deputy governor for political and security affairs, Rajabali Sheikhzadeh said that the IRGC car rolled over a trap of explosives, triggering the blast.

He said the IRGC members were on their way to the workshop for implementation of some local development projects.

Sheikhzadeh didn't provide any more information on the group or people that were responsible for installing the trap in the first place.
