Georgia and Norway discussed bilateral relations and cooperation in a multilateral format, Georgian Foreign Ministry told Trend.
During the meeting between Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Nikoloz Vashakidze and Norwegian State Secretary for Defence Eirik Owre Thorshaug, special attention was paid to deepening cooperation in the military sphere and future plans.
The Norwegian side stressed the large contribution of Georgia as a non-NATO member in operations in Afghanistan.
Vashakidze thanked the Norwegian side for its support towards the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia, as well as support in the process of integration into Euro-Atlantic structures.
