An unscheduled meeting between the presidents of France and Russia, Francois Hollande and Vladimir Putin, will take place in Moscow Dec. 6, TASS news agency reported citing the Elysee Palace, the French president's official residence.
The press service of the Moscow Kremlin, the Russian president's official residence, confirmed that there will be such a meeting.
It should be noted that Hollande, en-route to Paris from Kazakhstan, where he paid a two-day visit, will also visit Moscow.
