Azerbaijan, Baku, 16 January / Тrend corr G. Jabiyev / A forum for the support of Turkey's fight against the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), involving the political and social organizations of Azerbaijan, is expected to take place at the end of January, MP Panah Huseyn said to Trend on 16 January.
The first such forum involving MPs and politicians took place in November 2007. The meeting was organized by the Peace and Democracy Institution.
According to Huseyn, the Parliament is developing an appeal about recognition of PKK as a terror organization. The work will be completed by 1 February (by the beginning of the spring session of the Parliament).
A parliamentary working commission was established, to develop the appeal on the recognition of the PKK as a terror organization.
According to the authorities, there is no necessity in such an appeal, as the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has officially recognized the PKK as a terror organization.
