Azerbaijan, Baku, 15 April / corr. Trend G. Jabiyev/ The Musavat Party will not be moved from its premises, Gulu Khalilov, the press secretary of the State Committee on Property Management of Azerbaijan said to Trend .
The media spread the information on privatization of parts of the territory belonging to Evtikme Kombinati (ETK) (House Building Company) located in the 8th district of Baku. The premises of Musavat party and Yeni Musavat party is located in the administrative building #2 of ETK in this territory.
According to Khalilov, three hectares of the territory belonging to the Company has been allocated to the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs in line with the decision by the Cabinet of Ministers. The joint stock company Baki Inshaat -2 was founded in the remaining part of the territory of EKT. The measures are being taken to privatize the joint stock company in line with the legislation. "The building where Musavat and Yeni Musavat are located will not be privatized. Musavat will go on paying rent for the premises as before," he said.
Opposition party "Musavat" was founded in 1992. Isa Gembar, the present Chairman of the Party was the Ex-Speaker of Azerbaijani Parliament (Milli Majlis) in 1992-1993 and the candidate nominated forhe Presidential elections held in the country in 2003. Five MPs represents the Party in the Parliament of the country.
