Georgian Unified Communist Party Demands Government’s Resignation

Georgia, Tbilisi, 7 November / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia/ Members of the Georgian Unified Communistic Party held a protest action in Tbilisi on 7 November, demanding Government's resignation. "We also demand to release the political prisoners," Tamaz Japoshvili, a member of the Unified Communistic Party, said to journalists.

Today, the Georgian communists are marking the 91st anniversary of the October Revolution. About 20 pensioners joined the action which was demonstrating 'We Do Not Want NATO' slogan.

The communist said today is a holiday and they do not intend to join the action taking place in front of the Parliament.
