Protest demonstration against Israel in Iran
Today (on Monday) all Iranian cities are hosing demonstrations as a sign of protest against Israel's attack on the Gaza Strip, according to Iranian television's official news website.
A demonstration was held in the Palestine Square in Tehran on Dec. 29. Demonstrators manifested slogans God is Great! (Allahu Akbar), Death to Israel!, Death to America!, Hey, Muslims, Unite!, Palestine Will Win!, and Israel Will Be Destroyed! Condemning Israel's attack on Gaza, demonstrators called on international organizations and Muslim countries not to keep silence to Israel's actions.
On Dec. 27, Israel attacked the Gaza Strip and fired the HAMAS headquarters. The military operation left 310 people dead including civilians. Iran's supreme religious leader Ali Khamenei announced Dec. 29 the mourning day for Israel's attack on Gaza.
