The Azerbaijani Embassy in Egypt is ready for the referendum to make changes to the Constitution of Azerbaijan.
A total of 115 Azerbaijani citizens will take part in voting in the Azerbaijani Embassy administration in Cairo, Azerbaijani ambassador to Egypt Faig Bagirov told Trend .
The Embassy has sent notifications to Azerbaijani citizens to participate in the referendum.
Azerbaijan will hold a referendum on March 18 to amend 29 articles of the Constitution.
The Central Election Commission (CEC) registered the New Azerbaijan, City, Progress, Law and Democracy, Republicans, Republic and Movement for Karabakh and Civil Society initiative groups.
The referendum initiative campaigns were launched on Feb. 18 in Azerbaijan. The campaigns will end on March 16.
The Constitution was adopted in 1995. Amendments and additions were made in 2002.
Azerbaijani citizens will be able to vote in the Embassy at 08:00-07:00.
