The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) organized a lecture in Turkmenistan on the issues relating to human security, legal reforms, reforms of state policy and globalization and international policy.
Ex-president of Albania Rexhep Meidani was invited to Ashgabat as an expert, the OSCE center in Ashgabat said. He planned his meetings with students and colleagues from the Foreign Ministry, Majlis (parliament), the Ministry of National Security, the Interior Ministry, the Police Academy, the Academy of Sciences and others.
"Based on my personal experience and my contribution to international organizations and their activities, I am trying to develop some new concepts. I am always very happy to share these concepts and ideas with others, especially with young people and students," he said.
The purpose of the event is to provide students with deep understanding of the principles of democratic institutions and processes, as well as the challenges of the modern world.
