Ilham Aliyev meets president and Secretary General of General Confederation of Trade Union

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received President of the General Confederation of Trade Unions and vice-president of the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions Mikhail Shmakov and Secretary General of the General Confederation of Trade Unions Vladimir Shcherbakov on Oct. 22.

During the meeting, the sides stressed the importance of the Baku meeting of the Executive Committee of the General Confederation of Trade Unions in terms of international cooperation. It was noted that Azerbaijan maintained successful cooperation with the General Confederation of Trade Unions and the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions.

The parties also discussed cooperation prospects.
