Baku considers the issue linked with Tehrans concern on the statements on Iran made during the 2nd conference of the Congress of the World Azerbaijanis, as closed, Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister, Khalaf Khalafov.
Khalafov said that the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has repeatedly commented in this issue, including the statements on the level of the Minister.
We have stated our stance on the issue and are unwilling to comment on it further. This page is overturned, the Foreign Minister underlined.
Earlier an official of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Hamedrza Asefi, stated that Tehran was waiting for a reply to a note sent to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry with a protest against the statement full of illogic and anti-Iran elements.
