Water line Oguz-Gabala-Baku is out in operation till May 2008, Trend reports quoting Wolf Dieter Thal, project manager, CES Consulting Engineers.
Thal said the company has completed the first stage of TEO on the water line project.
Works on TEO started in January 2006 and will be completed in August. They include two phases identification of the line route and check of special pipes effectiveness and designing of the line, preparation of documents for construction operations tender.
Expert said during the operations all the system will be automated, auxiliary appliances and safety devices will be installed
.
As to the water distribution, the company representative said these issues will be the competence of JSC Azersu.
In 2002 president Heydar Aliyev signed a decree on installation of a pipeline in Oguz-Gabala area to improve water supply in Baku. In a view of this decree, JSC Azersu performed some studies to identify water reserves in the source; Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources made hydrological studies on the project.
On September 1, 2005 the Presidents session has recognized installation of water line Oguz-Gabala-Baku expedient and assigned Azersu to draw a TEO.
