GUAM consulting on peacemaking forces establishment  Georgian first deputy minister

Georgian Foreign Ministry is leading consultation with its GUAM partners on peacemaking battalion establishment, Trends special correspondent reports quoting Valery Chechelashvili, first deputy Foreign minister of Georgia.

He said these talks are now coming to an end. В"This is set forth by protocols we approved within GUAMВ", he added.

Georgian official said this battalion, number of people in which will be determined through consultations, will consist of militaries of Georgia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Moldova.

В"We are now working on defining each partys quotaВ", he underlined.

Chechelashvili outlined the big experience Georgian militaries received in peacemaking operations in Kosovo, Afghanistan and Iraq.
