We spent three days in the border troop of Armenia Stepanavan: Azerbaijani Detained by Armenian Frontier Guards

Each of three Georgian citizens, Azerbaijani by nationality, who have been released by the Armenian side, is in their native village of Sadahli. Huseyn Mammadov, Mehman Askerov and Kamandar Mustafayev were given to the Georgian frontier guards in night from Saturday to Sunday, Trend Special Correspondent reports with reference to Border Police of Georgia. Huseyn Mammadov had been detained five days ago in the neutral zone. Other two Azerbaijanis had been detained in the territory of Armenia while cutting down the forest. Releasing the three Georgian citizens, Azerbaijani by nationality, was made possible after urgent requests of Border Police of Georgia. They were given to the Georgian side with payment of the administrative fines.

Huseyn Mammadov informed Trend that he considers this territory as no man's land and therefore, the inhabitants of Sadahli village cut down wood there. We spent three days in the border troop of Armenia Stepanavan, he said.

According to the Armenian legislation, administrative fine is intended for illegally cutting down the forest.
