National Azerbaijan Literature Museum Director Rafael Huseynov has discovered an unknown copy of the Hamsa of prominent Azerbaijani poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi.
While on a business trip in Prague, Huseynov discovered a previously unknown copy in the archives of the Czech National Library, ANAS said on Tuesday.
Huseynov said the copy was rewritten in the 17th century. Its distinguishing feature is the presence of a large number of miniatures that reflect the tradition of the Tabriz school
Nizami researcher Rafael Huseynov is preparing a separate book on this manuscript. The book, which will be released in the coming months, will be in Azerbaijani, English and Czech.
