The Azerbaijani Ministry of Transport participated in Brussels's plenary session of the Planning Board for Inland Surface Transport in the format of the NATO Euro-Atlantic Cooperation, the Ministry of Transport said today.
During the plenary meeting head of security and emergency situations department at Azerbaijan's Transport Ministry Kazim Sharifov made a presentation of works and projects realized in the transport sector of Azerbaijan, as well as the development of international corridors and their economic importance. Data provided by the Azerbaijani delegation were taken by the organizers and participants as Azerbaijan's contribution to peace and security.
One of the main objectives of the Council is to study the transport infrastructure of members and partners, the formation of proposals and preparation of reports.
