CJSC Azerbaijan Railways and CJSC Rosagrotrans signed a memorandum of understanding and partnership to transport grain. The memorandum was signed in Baku within international and regional railway business forum "Strategic Partnership1520: The Caucasus region".
The memorandum provides for an annual transportation of grain to the amount of 1,5 million tons. The document has no time limit.
According to the terms of the memorandum, "Rosagrotrans" will provide with rolling stock for transportation of grain from Russia to Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan Railways will be responsible for the deployment on the territory of Azerbaijan, unloading and return.
The memorandum was signed by deputy head of CJSC Azerbaijan Railways Alirza Suleymanov and head of Rosagrotrans Konstantin Zasov.
