Azerbaijan’s Goychay Cognac Factory OJSC plans to increase production volumes by the end of the year, Nariman Aliyev, the company’s chief accountant, told Trend.

He said that the company produces cognac and brandy, and approximately 65 percent of the factory’s products account for brandy.

“Production volumes of cognac products of our factory vary within 3-7 tons of products annually, but we plan to increase these figures until the end of the year and in subsequent years,” he said. “Since our products are intended only for export, we are interested in new foreign sales markets.”

He added that for now, the products of the factory mainly enter the Russian and Georgian markets.

He noted that the factory has a Certificate of Conformity issued by Azerbaijan’s State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents and the Hygienic Certificate issued by the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Healthcare.

The factory uses Russian and German equipment for production.
