"With the permission received from the parliament, the government will take the necessary measures to reform the distribution system next year,” Dejpasand said, Trend reports citing Fars News Agency.

Dejpasand made the remarks at the meeting with the Members of the Assembly of Experts in Iran.

“I described the government's measures and programs on combating smuggling, supplying basic goods and reforming the banking system to the members of the Assembly,” he said.

"Fortunately, both the Minister of Agriculture and the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade said that the import of basic goods in terms of tonnage and foreign currency earned, was more than last year,” said Dejpasand.

“But the distribution network should be reformed, which is on the agenda of the government.”
