Total capital of Georgian companies in Turkey growing

Ten companies with Georgian capital were registered in Turkey in January-July 2019, which is equivalent to the same indicator for last year, the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) told Trend.

According to TOBB, the total capital of Georgian companies registered in Turkey over seven months of 2019 amounted to 1.605 million Turkish liras, whereas this figure amounted to 892,000 liras for the same period in 2018.

Most of the Georgian companies were registered in Istanbul (eight companies registered) with a total capital of 1.405 million Turkish liras.

During this period, one company with Georgian capital was registered in Antalya Province.

"In January-June 2019, four industrial and four wholesale and retail companies with Georgian capital were registered in Turkey. The remaining two entities are involved in other sectors of the economy," TOBB said.

As noted, the total capital of four trading companies registered during the reporting period amounted to 750,000 liras.
