Iran discloses volume and value of non-oil exports

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 27

Iran's non-oil exports amounted to 21.9 million tons worth $6.4 billion during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 20-July 21, 2020), Trend reports citing official website of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture.

According to the report, Iran's non-oil exports decreased by 44 percent in terms of value and 45.1 percent in terms of volume compared to the same period last year.

“While in the same period last Iranian year, Iran exported 40 million tons of products worth $11.4 billion,” the report added.

The products export was an average of $290 per ton during 4 month of current Iranian year. This is an increase of 2.1 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year ($284), according to the report.

"Iran exported products worth $1.84 billion (28.9 percent) to China, $1.49 billion to Iraq (23.4 percent), $970 million to the UAE (15.2 percent), and $500 million to Afghanistan (7.8 percent) and $250 million (3.9 percent) to Turkey during four months," the report noted.
