Iran's gasoline consumption increases

Iran's gasoline consumption increased by 2.4 percent to 64 million liters per day last week while the country's gas-oil consumption also climbed 1.8 percent and furnace fuel oil consumption reduced, SHANA reported quoting the National Iranian Oil Product Distribution Company.

Iran's average gasoline consumption during July 9 to 15 increased by 10.9 million liters to 450 million liters while the National Iranian Oil Product Distribution statistics indicates the furnace fuel oil consumption reduced by 400,000 liters to 367 million liters.

White oil consumption increased by 400,000 liters to 37.9 million liters while super gasoline consumption reduced by 5.6 million liters to 14.2 million liters.

According to the National Iranian Oil Product Distribution (NIOPD), Tehran gasoline consumption last week had increased by 2.4 percent to 91.3 million liters.
