The energy consumption of the unified energy system of Kazakhstan is expected at the level of 87.4 billion kWh in 2011, while the energy production is predicted to hit 86 billion kWh, Kazakh prime minister's press-service reported.
Presently, almost all facilities of social sphere and housing fund are connected to the centralized heating supply system.
The energy enterprises carried out the necessary volume of repair work prior to the beginning of heating season of 2011-2012.
Capital repairs and running repairs of 9 energy units were held in the regions of Kazakhstan. In addition, 40 boilers and 36 turbines were also repaired.
