Azerenergy joint stock company has set up the construction of the second and third module power stations, which will be placed in Khachmaz and Sheki districts, Marlen Asgarov, the Voce President of the JSC, told Trend.
10 energy modules each with the capacity of 8.7 MW will be installed in every of power stations. The capacity of every new station of will comprise some 90 MW. After the completion of the construction of facilities it is planned to set up the construction of the module power stations in Baku and Nakhchivan.
At present the joint stock company jointly with the general contractor Warstila, a Finnish company, is about to complete balancing and commissioning at Astara module power station. Its construction was set up last September and was over this January.
