Turkish Energy Minister Says Azerbaijani gas to Be Exported to Greece Starting from July, 2007
Azerbaijan, Baku/ corr. / The Azerbaijani gas produced from the Azerbaijani offshore gas condensate field of Shah-Daniz is expected to be exported to Greece starting from July, 2007. 's Energy and Natural Resources Minister, has said it during the Fourth Turkish International Oil and Gas Conference, Trend reports referring to Azertadj News Agency.The Turkish Minister also noted that construction activities on the Silvrid Gas Storage Reservoirs had been completed. Accordingh to Mr. Guler, the first stage envisages storing some 1.6 bln. cubic meters of gas in the gas storage, then, in further perspective - about 3 bln. cubic meters. will supply with gas via SCP (South-Caucasian Gas Pipeline). will buy a part of its gas for its own needs, the rest - re-export to other countries.
