The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Azerbaijan has chosen a virtualization service provider, says the message posted on the website of the State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection under the Ministry of Economy of the country May 16.
Azintelecom LLC Company under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan acts as the provider of this service, and the contract with it in the amount of 125,500 manats was signed May 7 this year.
The company started commercial exploitation of the resources of the largest DATA center in Azerbaijan in January 2017. Currently, a client base is being formed, which will consist of public sector enterprises and private companies. The DATA center will be based on the database of enterprises, which provides for the optimization of their expenditures. DATA center services are provided on a paid basis.
The DATA center has received a certificate of conformity to Tier3 level. The certification of the center was carried out by the US Uptime Institute organization.
In addition, the DATA center meets the security standards of the payment cards industry (PCI DSS), which are associated with cash transactions, and this issue is included in the range of interests of financial institutions.
