The Transport Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan under the leadership of Vice Minister Berik Kamaliev organized an official ceremony of signing the ‘Industry Agreement on Social Partnership in the Field of Road Transport of Kazakhstan for 2021-2023’, Trend reports citing the ministry.
The branch agreement was signed by the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development, ‘Union of Motor Transport Workers of Kazakhstan’ Union of Legal Entities, ‘Automobile Convention of Kazakhstan’ Association of Legal Entities, ‘Association of Passenger Transportation of Nur-Sultan City’ Association of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs’ of the Code of Kazakhstan (clause 2 of article 152).
The agreement is the main document of social partnership between the parties and establishes general principles for the parties to conduct an agreed social and labor policy, improve the work of transport enterprises, strengthen the protection of the socio-economic and labor rights of workers in the road transport industry.
The signing of this Sectoral Agreement will make it possible to more effectively monitor the state of the road transport industry, develop proposals for improving the regulatory framework, and promptly take measures to resolve problematic social and labor issues of workers of road transport enterprises.
