BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 24. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Kuwait Azamat Karagulov met with the General Director of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) Marwan Alghanem to discuss current issues of investment cooperation, Trend reports via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.
During the meeting, Karagulov informed participants about the status of KFAED-funded projects in Kyrgyzstan. He also mentioned the Cabinet of Ministers' plans to host the Fourth Round Table with the participation of the Arab Coordination Group's (ACG) development funds, as well as promising initiatives that would be submitted for consideration by the development funds.
General Director of the Kuwait Fund, praised Kyrgyz efforts to improve investment cooperation and the intention to hold another meeting with ACG member funds, which will allow the parties to summarize the results of many years of interaction while also considering new projects to develop infrastructure and the country's most important sectors.
Eventually, the parties also exchanged views on how to improve the efficiency of future collaboration, agreeing on the importance for more strong coordination between Kyrgyzstan's relevant departments and KFAED, as well as timely and effective implementation of financed project agreements.
